The conference programme for DSET 2017 will once again be primarily driven by the concerns and challenges as suggested by international serving military in the training and simulation sector.
Supported by the MAP survey inputs a comprehensive picture is being built that DSET will address in an open forum in February.
We still wish for further engagement with serving Military and any Military interested in contributing to complete the survey - alternatively, if you would like to discuss this in person please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Defence Simulation, Education & Training (DSET) will be running for the second time in February 2017, and is a conference and exhibition on Military Simulation and Training. DSET will cover key areas within Simulation, Education & Training, including Procurement, Standards, Training & Education Delivery. Future Indirect Fires Conference run by Omega will also be run alongside and with DSET, providing 2 conferences for the price of one, as there is synergy across these areas.
We launched this conference to answer the clear need of a high quality conference and event that delivers a real forum for debate, learning and action. Our goal is to have Serving Forces drive the content of the conference to make absolutely sure that we are delivering the best content, speakers, and forums for MS&T ever.
Our ethos is to provide the best value possible – both financially and in quality of content
1) The delegate prices are very good value as are the exhibitor packages.
2) We restrict the numbers attending the conference to each stream with 60% Military and 40% Industry.
3) All invited Military delegates will attend for free. Additional Military delegates are available at £150 per head.
4) We have chosen Ashton Gate in Bristol as the location for our event – it makes sense logistically and financially for all delegates. As well as being served by an International Airport, there is even a secured rate of £40 for a return rail ticket from London (including peak times) when booking directly through First Great Western Rail and quoting Destination Bristol and the DSET event.
The quality of the conference content, relevance and usefulness to the Armed Forces is something that we are passionate about. We feel that we have a great opportunity to deliver a conference that is 100% focussed and of use to the customer (which in turn will be of the highest value to industry) with your guidance. We would very much like your participation to help shape and guide the conference and content for 2017.
